Claire Kirby

Claire Kirby is an experienced digital and technology leader with a strong background in service delivery, organisational transformation, and high-performing team leadership. With over 15 years' experience working across Defence and commercial sectors, she brings a strategic yet pragmatic approach to shaping delivery practices, strengthening capability, and ensuring technology outcomes align with business value. Claire blends ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2, and systems-thinking principles to create clarity in complex environments and deliver measurable, sustainable results.

Claire is the Director of Delivery and Resourcing at Novabridge, where she leads the company's delivery practice across Australia and New Zealand. Her focus is on building a cohesive, capable, and empowered workforce — underpinned by psychological safety, healthy culture, and shared purpose. She champions servant leadership, clear ways of working, and an environment where people are encouraged to perform at their best, challenge assumptions, and develop their strengths and weaknesses with confidence.

Prior to Novabridge, Claire held multiple leadership roles at Silverstripe, culminating in her position as Services Director. She oversaw the governance and lifecycle of managed services supporting more than 400 clients, driving transformation initiatives that enhanced operational maturity, strengthened vendor partnerships, and improved service value. Her earlier role as Senior Delivery Lead saw her guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic digital programmes across sectors, including customs and immigration services, enterprise tourism, and one of Australasia's largest banks, ensuring alignment between strategy, delivery, and organisational outcomes.

A veteran, Claire spent a number of years with the New Zealand Defence Force, contributing to digital operations, cyber capability development, information operations, and national recruitment systems. Her Defence roles required sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to lead teams in high-tempo environments while managing risk and complex stakeholder demands.

Across all her roles, Claire is known for her ability to build strong relationships, inspire cohesive team performance, and bridge strategic ambitions with clear, executable pathways. She excels at guiding people through ambiguity, aligning teams around shared goals, and developing cultures where collaboration and accountability thrive.

She holds a Bachelor of Communication, Postgraduate studies in Strategic Management, and Agile and PRINCE2 certifications. Claire is driven by values-based leadership, continuous improvement, and enabling teams to deliver technology that genuinely supports the people and communities it serves.
